Beach cottage surroundings

There is, of course, a lot to do in addition to relaxing in your beach hut. The Sailcenter sailing club is located close to the beach hut. (Kite) surfers are also welcome here. A great show guaranteed! The closest nudist beach is at beach entrance 1. This is approximately 1 km to the south of the beach hut.

Kijkduin has many beach bars where you can enjoy lunch, dinner or drinks. These beach bars are located close to your beach hut. The nearest beach bar is called Suiderstrand.

Kijkduin

Kijkduin is a peaceful part of the district of The Hague. It has a lovely beach and promenade. The promenade, with a great view across the North Sea, is lined with a variety of restaurants and outdoor cafes. The Kijkduin shopping centre can be found on the Deltaplein, just behind the promenade.

There are great hiking or cycling options in the nearby dune area. And it’s even possible to cycle to The Hague or Scheveningen. If you’d rather not cycle, these destinations are easily accessed by car or public transport (buses depart from Deltaplein).

The Hague

The Hague is the seat of government and home to the official palace of the King (Noordeinde), the Binnenhof, Madurodam, the Mauritshuis and a bustling shopping centre.

Scheveningen

Scheveningen is especially known for its promenade and the Pier. Here, you can hop onto the Ferris wheel or – if you prefer something more exciting – go abseiling or bungee jumping. Besides the Pier, Scheveningen also offers a range of museums and attractions such as Sea Life, Holland Casino, Beelden aan Zee Museum and Scheveningen Museum.
